Tine Thing Helseth Plays at Nobel Peace Prize Concert

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE6VtJ7h0xI&feature=related

This is a video of Tine Thing Helseth, and Norwegian trumpet sensation, playing a Fanfare composed for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in 2007. I found it interesting that a woman who plays the trumpet, an instrument thought to usually be played by a man, was chosen to play for this concert. Her technique on the trumpet is outstanding. She has good breath control, and her phrasing is very well executed. However, she is portrayed in many things she appears in as a very feminine person. Could this be compensating for the fact that her instrument is traditionally speaking a "male" instrument? Maybe, maybe not. The only way to know for sure is to ask her yourself.
