In a world very much dominated by the male gender, Laura Karpman has emerged as an accomplished composer for both film and video games. One of her more recent projects in film include the soundtrack to Stephen Spielberg's "Taken", shown here:
Now- does that sound like a "Women Composer" wrote the soundtrack? Are those syncopations soft and delicate? I don't think so.
